Casey is many things: a twin, a dye-job redhead, a music fanatic, a lefty, a nailbiter, and a procrastinator, but she’d like to think of herself as a writer. She composed her first story in the first grade. It was about transforming into a black cat on Halloween. There was a pretty gory drawing involved.

She has since abandoned her doodling to focus on writing. She covers music and film for ShortandSweetNYC.com, but her first love is fiction. After all, people don’t often turn into cats. Well, not in many good movies.
